According to the latest CQC notice, GB/T 17743-2021 Limits and methods of measurement of radio disturbance characteristics of electrical lighting and similar equipment was published on 31 December 2021 takes effect on 1 July 2022, replacing GB/T 17743-2017.
Implementation of the new edition
1. From 1 July 2022, new applications shall be certified to GB/T 17743-2021 with new-edition certificates. Type tests to GB/T 17743-2021 may be used immediately.
2. For products already certified to the old edition, certificate holders should apply to convert to the new edition before the first surveillance after the standard takes effect, and, where needed, submit samples for the supplementary tests in the GB/T 17743-2021 vs GB/T 17743-2017 difference document, then receive a new-edition certificate.Conversion of GB/T 17743-2021 certificates must be finished by 1 July 2023. Overdue certificates will be suspended by CQC and withdrawn after three further months.
3. Products manufactured, placed on the market and no longer produced before 1 July 2022 need not convert certificates.
