According to China Quality Certification Centre (CQC) latest news,7/1 from,GB/T9254.1-2021 Information technology equipment, multimedia equipment and receivers — Electromagnetic compatibility Part1 Part 1: Emission requirements> The new edition will take effect,replacingGB/T 9254-2008andGB/T 13837-2012。This means CCC projects still using the old edition3C certification projects, must be updated to the new edition before the annual audit.
1. Scope of the new standard:
Applies to ITE whose rated AC rms or DC voltage does not exceed600 V, covering ITE, audio, video, broadcast receivers, entertainment lighting control and combinations, including professional multimedia and equipment previously under GB/T 9254-2008 and GB/T 13837-2012.Scope includes TVs, active speakers, audio power amplifiers, PCs, monitors, printers, servers, Category 08 and 09 adapters and similar equipment.
2. Fees for upgrading to the new edition:
Main fees: application+ registration + report (safety + EMC) + supplementary test fees
Supplementary test fees mainly cover:
Added asymmetrical-mode conducted emission tests on fibre ports with metal screen or strength members and on an enna ports (such as GPS, Wi-Fi and similar ports) asymmetrical-mode conducted emission tests (integral antenna ports need not be tested).
